Speak With Monsters

“Demogorgon has two heads which bear the visages of evil baboons or perhaps mandrills” — Monster Manual (1977)

I am kind of unnerved by the Monster Manual’s indecision on this matter. If the MM doesn’t know, how can any of us know? How can Demogorgon himself know?

Update: Looks like ol’ Demogorgon is going to be on the cover of the 4e Monster Manual 2, looking much way more awesomer than in 1977.

Those are definitely mandrill heads.
